I cannot recommend this company. I had them come and rekey a lock for me. The person who did it showed me it worked. The next morning I locked myself out and tried to use the key with no success.
I was wearing slippers. pjs. and a puffer coat! I called the emergency number twice and left an emergency message. No response. I called the store number twice and left a message twice-no reply! I had been outside for an hour! My neighbor came over and offered to help. She gave me her cell phone and I Called a locksmith in Belfast. He came right over and I was again inside my home.

I paid him $175.00 for an emergency visit-well worth it. I did not hear from Sargent lock company until Tuesday! The wife of the owner called me to see when the bill would be paid. No apology for not getting phone call back to me from the emergency line. She was unpleasant to say the least. I explained the key did not work and that I was told it was probably due to the very cold weather.

She did not care. I also said I did not think I should pay for something that did not work. She hung up the phone and sent two more emails demanding payment. It gets worse! On Wednesday the husband called and offers to correct this as he does not want to report me to the debt collection agency. It was an unproductive conversation and I no longer deal with them. I gave it one more shot today-thursday- and I got the wife on the phone and asked for the husband-she put me on hold and after seven minutes and three seconds I hung up and called back. The line was busy for over 30 minutes.

I cannot recommend this company in any way. There are other locksmiths and I would suggest you use them. Mu phone recorded all the conversations.
